About Us

Cathedral Parish Mission Statement

We, the Cathedral Parish of Mary Our Queen, are a worshipping community of Catholic Christians in north central Baltimore. With Mary as our patroness and with the aid of the Holy Spirit, we strive to experience more perfectly the love of God as revealed to us in Jesus Christ, to return that love to God, and to share that love with each other and with all of our brothers and sisters in the Archdiocesan and larger community. We proclaim the Kingdom of God in the celebration of the Word and the Breaking of the Bread, and in all aspects of our personal and community lives.

Our parishioners enjoy community gatherings. We have monthly "Meet and Greets" hosted in parishioners homes on the last Monday of the month. All are welcome! In the photo above, several couples helped support our Catholic School by bidding on dinner at the rectory with Monsignor Bruce Jarboe (far right) at the Cathedral Ball's Live Auction in 2010.
