The Evangelization Commission uses as its logo an oil lamp on a book, because we are the light of the world (see Matt. 5:13-16); we are all called to light the way for others to find Christ and understand the Word.

This icon is found on the lid of our baptismal font, which reminds us that we are called, by baptism, to serve in ministry for the Mission of Christ: It's every Christian’s baptismal calling.

The goal of the Evangelization Commission is to connect all people more lovingly to Jesus Christ and one another. We actively encourage everyone to get involved and to join our Ministry. After all, Evangelization is everyone’s mission. By virtue of our Baptism, we are called to reach out and share our faith with others. At the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen, this means:

Take a Cathedral tour

A tour book is available for self-guided tours. The book can be borrowed from the Receptionist Desk in the Msgr. Armstrong Parish Center, or you can purchase it for $15.00.

After-Mass Fellowship

Share coffee and donuts with us after 9:15 a.m. Mass on Sundays and as advertised.

Lenten Activities

Join us for LIVING Stations of the Cross during Lent, performed by Middle School students. This is followed by soup and bread.

Welcome Newcomers

Celebrate and welcome new parishioners in our faith community of the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen.

Mentoring

Mentor Cathedral school kids by volunteering at the Cathedral School or the School of Religion.

Cathedral Moms Club

Do you have young children at home? Come join Play and Pray for fellowship, friends and fun!

Family Friendly Fridays

Enjoy Friday Night Flicks on the School Circle and other fun events.
