Capital Campaign Success
Cathedral of Mary Our Queen
and
School of the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen
Baltimore, Maryland
Spring 2009
Over the past many months, School Principal Sister Josephann Wagoner, Father Louis Bianco, a handful of Cathedral and School lay-leaders and I have worked hand-in-hand on a $4 million fundraising effort. Now, together, we proudly share with you our plans and successes.
After a thorough internal and external review, and extraordinary input from the Archdiocese of Baltimore, the Parish Finance Council and the School Board, it was determined that four critical structural needs must be addressed.
- Refurbishing and Restoring the two Cathedral Pipe Organs
- Installing a modern Climate Control & Ventilation System in the School
- Restoring the Cathedral Stained Glass Windows
- Repairing Masonry on the two Cathedral Towers
As of today, we have $5,328,031 pledged and
$4,006,247 received! This is an extraordinary accomplishment!
We will continue to share additional information about our plan, successes and comprehensive fundraising efforts. Thank you.
Sincerely yours in Christ,
Reverend Monsignor
Robert A. Armstrong

Capital Campaign Leadership Cabinet Members 2006-2007 |

Thanks very much to those who have stepped forward with a generous pledge and contribution. Thanks also to the Capital Campaign Leadership Cabinet who have worked hard. Without the Cabinet’s leadership and steadfast commitment of time and financial resources, the Campaign would not be the success it has been.
The Cathedral of Mary Our Queen and School of the Cathedral have retained Graham-Pelton Consulting, Inc. to manage and direct our $4 million Capital Campaign. This successful fundraising Campaign has benefited from 100% participation from Campaign leadership and 100% participation from the School of the Cathedral staff and employees.
We ask that you and your family pray for the success of this historic parish-wide fundraising endeavor. |
