for Making a Bequest to
the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen
Cathedral Preservation Trust

Suggested Language for Gift By Will or Trust

The following language should be reviewed and suitably revised by your attorney before  it is included in your will or revocable trust.

Bequest of a Specific Amount of Money:

“I give the sum of ________________Dollars ($_____________) to THE CATHEDRAL OF MARY OUR QUEEN PRESERVATION TRUST, Baltimore , Maryland , to be used for the uses and purposes of the Trust.”

OR

“I give the sum of ________________Dollars ($_____________) to THE CATHEDRAL OF MARY OUR QUEEN PRESERVATION TRUST, Baltimore, Maryland, to be used for the preservation and maintenance of (CHOOSE ONE OR MORE) the stained glass windows OR the pipe organs OR the trees, shrubbery and flower beds of the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen.”

Bequest of Securities:

“I give my shares of stock in ______________________ to THE CATHEDRAL OF MARY OUR QUEEN PRESERVATION TRUST, Baltimore , Maryland , to be held, sold, or otherwise dealt with for the uses and purposes of the Trust.”

Bequest of a Percentage
of the Residuary of an Estate or Trust:

“I give to THE CATHEDRAL OF MARY OUR QUEEN PRESERVATION TRUST, Baltimore , Maryland , ___% of my residuary estate to be used for the uses and purposes of the Trust.”

Checks should be payable to “The Cathedral of Mary Our Queen Cathedral Preservation Trust.” If the gift is directed to a dedicated fund of the Trust, please indicate whether the gift is for the preservation and maintenance of the stained glass windows, the pipe organs, or the trees, shrubbery and flower beds.
