- 7 Deadly Sins:
Fr. Robert Barron explains how they correspond to the seven stories of Dante’s mountain and are presented as patterns of dysfunction within us that lead to unhappiness. This study is prepared by Fr. Robert Barron which explains the nature of these sins and offers a corresponding virtue for each one, giving practical advice on how to instill this virtue in your own life.
- Untold Blessings - Three Paths to Holiness:
This study by Fr. Robert Barron paints a beautiful and mysterious image of what it takes to be a follower of "the One who is Jesus Christ." He states that our ultimate goal is to be a saint. As our greatest calling, it is also the intent and desire of our Creator. Father Barron lays out three intriguing paths to holiness and practical approaches to walk these paths.

CSS Mission Statement
"Catholic Scripture Study is an Archdiocesan-endorsed course which embraces the fullness of Catholic teaching on Holy Scripture, the Sacraments, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, teachings of the Fathers of the Church and the devotions of the Church incorporated into a format of user-friendly lessons focusing on small group sharing that deepens and enriches the individual's relationship with Our Father, His Son, Jesus and the Holy Spirit."
Who Attends CSS?
Catholics and Non-Catholics interested in the Catholic Faith are welcome to join CSS, regardless of their level of Bible knowledge.
What are CSS lessons?
CSS uses structured Scripture Studies of both the Old and New Testaments produced by the Scott Hahn group of Bible scholars. The study is user friendly and touches the heart and mind.
Each lesson is specific to a designated section of Scripture and includes commentary on the passage. Homework questions are divided into sections to facilitate daily study. References from the Catechism of the Catholic Church and excerpts from Church documents, such as Encyclicals, are also included to bring clarification to the Scripture text.
What to bring?
A Catholic edition of the Bible and a copy of the Catechism of the Catholic Church is all that is needed in addition to each week's lesson.
When are CSS Classes offered?
Classes meet two hours a week from September to May. Each two hour class consists of small group discussion of the homework questions in the lesson led by a study leader, and a brief talk.
Enrolling in CSS is a commitment to spend time with God! The study combines lessons with homework, commentary and lecture.
What is the tuition?
The cost for the course of study is $70.
