HYPER MASS
Casual, Contemporary and Cool!

What is it?
HYPER Mass stands for
Helping Young People Embrace Religion through Mass. It is a worship program designed specifically with young people in mind. HYPER Mass gives youth in the parish community an opportunity to participate more fully in the Mass by ministering as greeters, lectors, gift bearers, ministers of the Eucharist, and song leaders.

Though HYPER Mass is geared towards young people, parishioners and friends of all ages are invited and encouraged to participate.

When & Where is it?
September through May, the 4th Sunday of the month, at 5:00pm in the Parish Center.

* Download this schedule and post it on your fridge or by your calendar!

Who celebrates the Mass?
Students can volunteer to be a greeter, reader, or gift bearer. Usually a parish priest presides at HYPER Mass. This provides an opportunity for young people to learn more about the parish staff and it gives parish priests the chance to get to know the young church. On occasion, priests from other parishes are invited to celebrate Mass.

What is the music like?
The HYPER Mass Music Group, a group of student and adult volunteers of all ages, provides music for HYPER Mass. The musical selections are chosen with young people in mind. Our music resources include Gather, Spirit and Song, WOW Worship, and Rise Up and Sing.

What happens after Mass?
After HYPER Mass we will gather for ...
