Journey with Jesus: A Lenten Hymn Sing

Come, sing and pray as we take a musical journey with Jesus and explore the music of Lent contained in our new Ritual Song hymnals. Similar to our Christmas Lessons and Carols, this hymn festival will be a mixture of scripture, reflections, and music that takes us on the journey from Jesus’ temptation in the desert to his entry into Jerusalem.

High School Lenten Reflection Group

Are you a High School Upperclassmen looking deciding what to do for Lent this year? Consider joining our High School Lenten Reflection Group. The group is for high school students (sophomores, juniors, and seniors) who are interested in exploring their relationships with Jesus more deeply this Lent. The group will meet every Sunday during Lent from 5:30pm-7:00pm in the Cathedral Youth Room (basement of the Parish Center). Space is limited so please sign up online.

Share your thoughts on the Children’s Music Ensemble!

The Music Ministry of the Cathedral is starting a Children’s Music Ensemble and a Children’s Cantor Group! These groups will be open to any child ages 2-15 who loves to sing and/or play music. We need your opinions and advice to create the best rehearsal schedule and choose the most appropriate music. Thank you for completing this quick 7-question survey by February 28!

Stations of the Cross

Every Friday in Lent, there will be Stations of the Cross at 10am and 4:45pm in the Lady Chapel. All are welcome to attend either.

First Friday Adoration

All are welcome to come to Adoration on the First Friday of the month from October to May from 8:45am to 5:15pm. The Catholic Evidence League will pray the Rosary at 11:30am and celebrate Mass at 12noon. If you can serve as a Eucharistic Visitor for one or more of the Private Adoration slots, please sign up here.

Marriage Vow Renewal

All couples who are celebrating an anniversary in that month, join Monsignor Woy and Father Andrew for marriage vow renewal the first weekend of every month after all weekend Masses in the Lady Chapel.  No RSVP needed – just come! 5:00 pm Saturday Mass, 8:00, 9:30 & 11:00 am Sunday Masses. Mass for Gr. 2 – Enrollment Mass

All 2nd grade students are invited to this Mass, where we will celebrate the Rite of Enrollment for those preparing for First Communion.

Chrism Mass with Archbishop Lori, Celebrant

The Chrism Mass is an annual Mass held during Holy Week, bringing the Archdiocesan community together as the Archbishop blesses the priests, deacons and ministers of the Archdiocese of Baltimore.  The blessing of the oils and consecrating of Chrism (an ointment consisting of a mixture of oil and balsam)  for the entire diocese takes place at this Mass.  The Archbishop will bless the sacramental oils that will be used throughout the year in the different parishes of the Archdiocese to…

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament

On Holy Thursday, March 29, there will be Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament until Midnight, closing with Night Prayer.

Morning Prayer

On Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Saturday, there will be Morning Prayer at 8:15 am in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel.

Mass of the Lord’s Supper – Archbishop Lori

The Mass of the Lord’s Supper will be celebrated by Archbishop Lori on Holy Thursday, March 29, at 7:30pm.

Parish Center Closed

The Parish Center will be closed Good Friday, 3/30, in observance of the Easter holiday.

Morning Prayer

On Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Saturday, there will be Morning Prayer at 8:15 am in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel.

Solemn Celebration of the Lord’s Passion with Archbishop Lori, Celebrant

The Solemn Celebration of the Lord’s Passion will be celebrated on Good Friday, March 30, at 3pm.

Live Stations of the Cross

All are welcome to attend Live Stations! High school students will guide you through a live performance of the Stations of the Cross. No RSVP needed. See you there!

Easter Masses

The Easter Vigil Mass will be Saturday, March 31 at 8pm, with Archbishop Lori, Celebrant. Masses on Easter Sunday, April 1, will be at 8am, 9:30am, and 11am.

There will be a Blessing of Easter Foods on Saturday, March 31 at 12:30 pm in the Lady Chapel.

Easter Masses
