Anti-Racism Rally

Saturday, August 29 at 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

The Cathedral of Mary Our Queen is invited to join the faith communities of Grace United Methodist Church and Church of the Redeemer in a rally to give voice to the outrage at the racial injustices in our society, recently precipitated by George Floyd’s murder and other deaths and assaults to people of color.  The rally will be held on Saturday, August 29th from 10:00 -11:00 AM and is to take place on the corner of Northern Parkway and Charles Street.  All participants are asked to wear a mask and keep appropriate six feet distance between households during the rally along the sidewalks of that intersection and along the streets.  Attendees are invited to make a sign to express their solidarity and support of the value of human life and against the sin of racism.
