Lent @ Home begins

Wednesday, February 17 - All Day

Many have asked for thoughts and guidance on how to commemorate Lent at a time when so many of our rituals have been disrupted. Prayer and reflection offer an important avenue. In this particular year—when we have witnessed the sins of racial injustice; the disproportionate effects of the pandemic on the poor, the elderly and communities of color; and continued suffering in our city—prayer and reflection that leads to greater understanding and empathy is more essential than ever. The quest for social  justice, in particular racial justice, is an ongoing journey—and one in which we all play a part.  In addition to our regular offering for Lent, we have curated a selection of readings, links to videos and information and a prayer list to guide parishioners in your individual Lenten journey.
