Ways to Give
Offertory sustains our operating budget and provides for more than 40 ministries. Included in offertory are weekly, summer, Christmas, and Easter collections. Online giving is encouraged via Faith Direct or you may contact the Parish Office at 410-464-4000 for envelopes.
Enroll in regular offertory payments or make a one-time gift through Faith Direct.
Gifts in Memory
Gifts of remembrance or memorial or loved ones can be made via Faith Direct or by sending a check to the Parish Office made payable to Cathedral of Mary Our Queen.
Visit the Archdiocese of Baltimore’s website to learn more about the Annual Appeal for Catholic Ministries.
A planned gift is a way to maximize your charitable tax benefits while leaving a lasting impact at Cathedral. Below are different gift options for your consideration. We encourage you to consult your financial advisor or attorney about the plan you are interested in to determine your exact deductions and tax benefits and the legal principles that apply to your situation.
A bequest can be made through a will or a trust or by making the Cathedral a beneficiary of a retirement plan. Cathedral has been blessed over the years to receive many generous gifts from individuals who included us in their estate plans. If you would like to include the Cathedral in your will or trust, create a charitable gift annuity or, if you are older than 70 1/2, make a gift through an IRA Charitable Roll over, please contact the Development Office at 410-464-4000 or email@example.com.
Gifts of Stock and Appreciated Securities
Gifts of stock and appreciated securities (shares of common stock in a company or units of mutual funds that are worth more today than when they were acquired) provide an immediate charitable income tax deduction for the full value of the gift the day the gift is completed. The donor also avoids paying the capital gains tax that would result from a sale of securities.
Stock gifts to the Cathedral are processed by the Archdiocese of Baltimore. To make a stock gift, please instruct your broker to contact one of the following:
