Annual Appeal for Catholic Ministries 2020

"Today, I'm asking your support of the Annual Appeal for Catholic Ministries.  Proceeds from this appeal support the many programs and ministries of the Archdiocese, like  Catholic Charities, St. Vincent DePaul Society, hospital chaplains, campus ministries, and various pro-life programs — to name just a few.  A complete list of causes supported by the Appeal may be found at www.archbalt.org/appeal.  This appeal does not support the administrative budget of the Archdiocese nor is it used for any legal fees or settlements associated with clergy misconduct. Distribution of the funds raised in the Appeal is overseen by a group of lay-leaders and pastors who assure that monies are used to support the core mission of the Church.  Regardless of the failures and sin of the institutional church, people still look to the Church for support, assistance, and ministry.  This Appeal is about supporting the good work of Jesus and His Church – work that supports when people turn to us in their human and spiritual need.

Our parish goal this year is $121K.  The parish will receive a rebate of 25% up to the parish goal and 50% for every dollar over goal.  Our rebate will be used to support Youth Ministry & Liturgical Music Programs – both of which are so important to the life of the parish. Please prayerfully consider a gift to the Appeal over the next week."
