Fr. Bianco's Message for the Week: August 5, 2022

Dear Cathedral Parishioners,

I am pleased to share with you that the Cathedral parish now has a subscription to FORMED, an online platform filled with over 4,000 Catholic studies, movies, audio dramas, talks, e-books, and even cartoons for your children. FORMED has content from over 60 apostolates, including Augustine Institute, Ignatius Press, and the Knights of Columbus, with material that is professionally produced, engaging, and solid in its catechism. Best of all, this material is free to you.

You have easy access to all of the material on FORMED to support your own faith journey and that of your family members. FORMED can help you: if you have been away from the Sacraments for a while and are looking to get back to practicing the Faith; answer your children’s questions about why the Faith is important in their lives; find a reliable source of Catholic teaching on current issues; and discover good, wholesome movies that your family can enjoy together on a Friday night.

You can enjoy FORMED on your computer or on your television with a Roku device or Apple TV. You can even listen on your phone as you commute to work or do chores.

To gain access to all of the content on FORMED, follow these simple steps:
Go to
Enter our parish’s zip code (21210)
Enter your name and your email address.

That’s all you have to do to gain access to the beautifully-made content on FORMED. I sincerely hope that you use this wonderful tool to enrich, deepen, and strengthen your faith.

May God bless you.

Father Louis A. Bianco

Annual Appeal for Catholic Ministries

So far we have raised $230,725, which is 92% of our goal.

This year instead of our parish only receiving a portion of funds raised for the Appeal for Catholic Ministries, Cathedral will keep 100% of all donations up to $250,000. Any funds raised over our goal will support the many important ministries of the appeal.

The funds will go towards several projects that will benefit the entire Cathedral campus. For more details please visit our website. Thank you for your generous support!

Summer Splash 2022

Save the date and please join us on Sunday, August 29! We will be hosting the Summer Splash with Grace United Methodist from 12 PM to 3 PM with water slides, kona ice, and food trucks. Kids of all ages are invited.

Donations are not required, but are highly encouraged to help defray the cost.

Family Faith Formation

We are excited to announce that our Family Faith Formation (FFF) is returning this fall. FFF is offered for children in Kindergarten-8th grade not enrolled in a Catholic school. ALL FFF families need to register for the next year of formation.

In addition, the second graders who will be preparing for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion need to register for the FFF and First Holy Communion and First Penance programs separately.
