Holy Week @ Home: Easter Sunday, April 4

Welcome to Lent @ Home! We believe prayer leads to action - so start your day with us in prayer, then complete the action below. Thank you for journeying with us this Lent!

This is a day of celebration and is the most important day of our liturgical year.  It is the celebration of the Resurrection of the Lord.  At this Mass the entire community gathers to witness to this greatest mystery of our faith.  The Resurrection is God’s great act of triumph over sin and death which brings us the gift of our salvation.  Because it is so elemental to our faith, each Sunday is a celebration of that triumph we celebrate at Easter.

Action of the Day

“For they did not yet understand the Scripture that he had to rise from the dead.” Jn 20:9

While our Lenten journey has come to an end, the Easter season has just begun! Look ahead to the next seven weeks and how you will continue to reflect and rejoice in the Good News of the Resurrection.
