We Stand Against Racism

​Racism has plagued our country since its foundation and, despite strides made over the years, discrimination against people of color remains a persistent feature of American life, as witnessed by the recent killing of George Floyd. Racism is not simply a moral flaw lodged in the hearts of individuals, but is a structural flaw woven into the fabric of society, affecting education, healthcare, policing, and the criminal justice system. But more than simply a political problem, racism is a spiritual and theological problem, denying that all people are made in the image of God and redeemed by the death and resurrection of Christ. RCIA for the Rest of Us

You're invited to ​RCIA for the Rest of Us!​ This class is for any adult, whether newcomer or long-time parishioner, who has an interest in learning more about the Catholic faith. Classes will take place on Wednesdays evenings (4/29, 5/06, 5/13, 5/20 & 5/27) from 7:00 - 8:00 PM via Zoom (an on-line video conferencing platform). Prior to each session there will be pre-recorded content sessions and a bit of reading sent to participants, which the Zoom sessions will cover. Details for the Zoom sessions will be sent out with the content each week after signing up.
