This five-week series is focused on discussion of texts drawn from Scripture, the tradition, and contemporary theological reflection. It will offer an opportunity to discover theological and spiritual tools that can make our Catholic faith a source of life and joy. It seeks to answer the questions: “What are the fundamentals of Catholic belief? What does the Catholic tradition say about faith, reason, Scripture, God, Jesus, the Church, and the Sacraments?” The course is led by Deacon Fritz Bauerschmidt, Professor of Theology at Loyola University.  Those specifics class topics will be:

1.     Faith, Reason, Scripture, and Tradition

2.     The Triune God

3.     Jesus Christ

4.     The Church

5.     The Sacraments
