Music Ministry

There are many opportunities to volunteer in the Cathedral Music Ministry! Sing or play in one of our choirs (information below) or assist behind-the-scenes with publicity, clerical tasks, ushering at concerts, and more.

Community Ensemble (Kairos)

They also sing for other festive celebrations such as First Communion and Confirmation. Rehearsals are held each Tuesday evening, 7:30-9:00pm and 8:00am on Sunday. The volunteer commitment is 3-4 hours each week.

It also sings for all Feast Day Liturgies, at various concerts arranged at Cathedral, and at other Festive Celebrations throughout the year. The skill level of choir members varies, from musical amateur to professional singer, but all are committed to our ultimate purpose of raising our voices to God. The time commitment is approximately 5 hours per week. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings from 7:00- 9:00pm and Sunday mornings at 9:45am.

New singers in each vocal section – soprano, alto, tenor and bass – are always welcome! For more information, or if you are interested in joining us, please contact Glenn Osborne.
